Wall stickers are a great way to brighten up a wall, whether it is adding a finishing touch or to create a feature.

What do you think of these love bird stickers by Ferm Living?  I think they are very stylish, being a silhouette with six blackbirds ‘courting’ on a branch.

You don’t need wallpaper to create a feature wall as you can easily create a feature with a wall of framed photographs or pictures or colourful wallhangings. I like the simplicity of this Coat Tree wall decal by Ferm Living – especially perfect for small hallways.  It can become a ‘working’ coat hook stand by placing hooks over the sticker in the relevant places – how clever!

The coat tree wall decal can be purchased online here for almost worldwide delivery.

If you are looking for space saving Christmas decorations, check out these removable and reusable wall decals for your walls. You can keep the non-Christmas aspects of the wall decals there all year if you wish (the tree, for example) and add the decorations and other Christmassy bits each December.

These stickers can even be scrunched up by grubby little fingers and they will still reapply perfectly to any surface. They are a great idea for space saving Christmas decorating too or for putting some Christmas decorations into a child’s bedroom. Buy online here.

Children’s bedrooms can become quite busy with all their books and toys but it is nice to create a feature wall within a girl’s bedroom – I think it can make her bedroom feel special and more grown up and as that wall tends to be by the bed or else have nothing in front of it so you can really enjoy the design on it, it really does become The Feature Wall.

So how do you create a feature wall in girls bedrooms?

Well, take the largest wall that doesn’t have furniture in front of it (the bed is fine though) and then decide what you would like there as the feature.

If you would like wallpaper, it doesn’t have to be a childish wallpaper, it could be quite a grown up pink damask pattern like in this picture:

From Ideal Homes magazine, this image shows how a quite busy vibrant wallpaper pattern in a vivid colour can still be quite calming when teamed with other pinks in similar tones and neutrals. The simplicity of the day bed adds to the charm. (the wallpaper is available online here but I’m afraid I don’t know its name)

Wall Decals can also form a fun and impressive display on a feature wall and the beauty of these removable and reusable wall stickers by Australian company Mae is that little girls and their mums can be just as creative as they like and move all the stickers around until they are happy with them. If you decide to move furniture around or even move house or change bedrooms, the stickers will stay sticky and can be moved too.

These Woodland scenes are now available online here  as above. They also come as 3 separate sticker sets – each formed of 3 sets – a build a tree sticker set, oh deer and forest critters if you wish to buy them one at a time and add to the design with new sticker sets for birthday or christmas gifts.

Do you love tea sets? Well, if you can’t have lots of antique tea cups on display or perhaps you want to add to your collection, what do you think of this Tea Set wallpaper by Digitex (can be purchased online).

I have to admit this is a tad busy for me and if it is for you too, check out the Tea Time wall stickers (available online here) which are just as lovely but less busy and are removable and reusable too so you can move them as often as you like.
