Mountain Friends – this is such a creative wallpaper by Ferm Living.  It shows a forest mountain scene with charming mice dressed for a wedding and even leading a horse. While it has a Red Riding Hood charm about it, a child could imagine any amount of adventures with themselves taking the starring role with the characters tagging along after the hero or heroine.

In the Rain by Ferm Living is a beautiful wallpaper for children’s nurseries. It’s of beautiful quality being non-woven and almost feels like a fabric.

It features clutches of houses as if they are small villages. Friendly clouds drop warm raindrops (well, they look warm!!) and hand-drawn animals are seen scattered throughout the village. My favourite character has to be the cycling rabbit with a balloon.

If you are looking for a wallpaper for a nursery that will last the test of time and be neither blue nor pink, masculine nor feminine and yet be perfect for a small child’s bedroom or nursery, I love  Fayre’s Fair by Mini Moderns with its old-fashioned and traditional carousel horses.

I love it in the heather and gold and think it is so pretty for a child’s nursery or bedroom. What do you think of the stronger colours?

There is something very pretty about damask wallpapers – they remind me of Victorian sitting rooms, dark red wallpapers with a darker pattern, teamed with mahogany sideboards and dining tables.  One of my particular favourites though is the Manor House Damask by Yukari Sweeney Design.  It is traditional in its design and as the name suggests, it is quite grand with its depictions of candleabras and chandeliers.

My favourite is the ‘Spring’ colourway where the ever so dainty and select use of various colours really highlights little details every so subtly, from the lighting wicks on the candles to the teardrop detailing.  This is a very special wallpaper and would look divine in a girl’s or a lady’s bedroom or a dining room.

Fit for a manor but will look equally well in semi-d’s 🙂
