In the Rain by Ferm Living is a beautiful wallpaper for children’s nurseries. It’s of beautiful quality being non-woven and almost feels like a fabric.

It features clutches of houses as if they are small villages. Friendly clouds drop warm raindrops (well, they look warm!!) and hand-drawn animals are seen scattered throughout the village. My favourite character has to be the cycling rabbit with a balloon.

I was recently asked for a recommendation for a ‘dog’ wallpaper as the owner wanted to put it in her dog’s room.  These are the two I came up with but if you have found any others that are nice, do let us know about them below in the comments.

We have Slipper Wolf, which is a wall panel by Scandinavian Surface.  It’s good fun and certainly not overpowering as it can be mixed and matched with other wall panels or used on its own.

Slipper Wolf would work really well by breaking up a long wall or to create a feature wall with one  or two wallpaper panels.

I really like its play on wild/tame as we see a wolf in a domesticated situation, sitting on a chair and doing that age-old trick of bringing its owner his or her slippers or perhaps he is chewing them just as our puppies do!

It is certainly different! What do you think? Do you like it?

Our other ‘dog wallpaper’ is called ‘Best in Show‘ by Osborne and Little, a flock wallpaper that is available in three colourways and shows many favourite breeds in silhouette against a plain background.

I know lots of people love their pets – is it too much to give them a dog wallpapered room? Or do you use a dog wallpaper because you love animals?

Here’s a couple of spooky selections for spooky Hallow’een decorating. First up is Animal Magic by Paperboy, which is available in different colourways in wallpaper and fabric – what is spooky and rather macabre about this is that the skeletons of these household pets are visible (but aren’t luminous so don’t shine up at night – no nightmares!), perfect for children who like a touch of macabre and wonder about such things as the insides of everything.

The Elli Popp ‘Skeletons in the Closet’ wallpaper has unexpected skeletons and skulls hiding amongst its designs. Like all the best scary designs, the fear is in the unexpected.

Just click on the photos to be brought to the website if you would like to purchase or look some more 🙂

Happy Hallow’een!
